Thanks Sandra - I will try this.
My plan has been more to work with her in ways she is comfortable with until she gets to know me and trust me a little better. She is a brand new client and appeared more than a little uncomfortable and like she thought I was a little bizarre for talking about different parts, even though I explained we all have parts, etc... and she was able to agree with that concept.
I agree you'd not get very far not doing ego state work when it's needed. However, I'm thinking I won't get so far if I scare her off either
