This week, we passed a significant milestone in the recognition of Classical Adlerian psychology--our main web page counter at
http://go.ourworld.nu/hstein/ has logged 500,000 visitors to our home page since we installed it in 1996. Curious about the volume and source of web page visitors, we recently installed additional, more refined counters that reveal the total number of visitors to all of our pages, as well as their states and countries. To our surprise and delight we discovered that the actual number of visitors to all of our pages has grown steadily from about 20/day in 1996 to almost 600/day in 2006. This now computes to about 200,000 visitors/year, and an estimated total of 1,000,000 visitors to all of our pages in the past ten years!
Although we were able to identify all the states and ninety countries of our visitors, we recently discovered a visually simple and appealing way to illustrate this information. In the upper left hand corner of our home page, at
http://www.Adlerian.us, under "statistics," you will see a small world map. If you click the "zoom' button, it will display a larger ClustrMap revealing the pattern and volume of visitors from all over the world.
