Well Todd, what I find rather annoying are the Darwinian atheists who, OTOH, seem to “need to see†a universe that has, using Dawkins’s characterization, “the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil and no good, nothing but pitiless indifference,†and that such folk use “natural selectionâ€â€”what Provine now acknowledges is not even a mechanism—as an excuse for their atheism.
