Consider the following resources:

1) Take the JVIS (Jackson Vocational Interest Survey) online at http://www.jvis.com/default.htm

2) Explore the OOH (Occupational Outlook Handbook) at http://www.bls.gov/OCO/.

3) Make an appointment with a counselor/therapist who also specializes in career assessment and guidance. Discuss your reasons for initially choosing counseling, then rejecting it.
