![]() Hi Sandra. I am a therapist working at a residential treatment facility in Asheville, NC. We have a new resident who has a diagnosis of DID and severe PTSD. Neither I nor my supervisor feel that DID is within our expertise, though I do have EMDR 1 and 2 (and lots of EMDR Consultation over the last few years).
My supervisor and I have agreed that we need to seek consultation from someone who is truly a specialist in this area, and would prefer someone "in our backyard," so to speak. Any suggestions? |

![]() I don't know the geography, to know how close Chapel Hill is to Asheville, but Gary Peterson is definitely the go to guy there. He is both a fellow of the dissociaiton society and an EMDR specialist. one can always search at isst-d.org to find someone in your area, but Gary is a leader in the field.
