![]() Mr. Lankton,
I guess the number of people who received some kind of training from Dr. Erickson is not small and by this time many of them must have written about their understanding of his way of therapy. Some of these contributions should be really significant for those people who want to learn Ericksonian therapy. But I personally know only a very few names of these first generation therapists. Would you like to give a list of a few names whom you know to make significant and original writings in the field of Ericksonian therapy? Chayan Das |

![]() That is a terrific question...the best source is a bibliographical list on the Erickson Foundation web site: http://erickson-foundation.org/bibliography.html
This has more than 1st generation authors, however. So, to help nail it down a bit I have these on the top of my head: Haley, Lankton, Zeig, Rossi, Havens, Ritterman, Burns, Gilligan, Rosen, Parsons, and O'Hanlan. There are some others too...I'm sorry to have slighted them in my haste. |

![]() There are also some buffoons and Hulligans who visited him and wrote about him and his work. But this group is different than the group mentioned above, and they r called the NLP People... The Bandler type...
Of course, neither group is recognized in Academic circles as having any Scientific foundations to what they claim (Hypnosis). And Irocically, those 2 groups don't even recognize each other as having any Scientific Foundations. Compared to the world of food, those 2 r like Macdonalds and Burger King... All is junk food, No difference between any of them... |
