I'm sure I need to do some more reading in this field, but I wanted to check something out: You say that meditation raises the level of serotonine-level in the brain. Can you point me to some research that backs that up? I'm fascinated.

![]() I think that if you look to early posted comments you will find that Dr. Spira has addressed this question. What you don't ask is if there are different types of meditations that might be used for different purposes. Dr. Spira also addresses this, and I think that this will answer your question more fully too.
